Jailbreak
⚠️

It's recommended to make a backup using go2_firmware_tools after the jailbreak. Please refer to point 7 of this manual.

The method works only for package versions 1.0.24 to 1.1.1 and is currently recommended

Currently, the method supports Ubuntu 22.04 and Ubuntu 24.04. Support for Windows will be added later




Let`s Jailbreak!

  • Download the jailbreak binary: https://disk.yandex.com/d/r2EjmqFmIPC9vw (opens in a new tab) and rename it to "jailbreak"
  • Connect the dog in STA_L mode to your local network(that means, connect the robot on your wifi) and ensure your PC is on the same network.
  • Make sure mobile APP is closed
  • Run ./jailbreak and follow the on-screen instructions.
chmod +x jailbreak
./jailbreak
  • Once the script is completed, REBOOT your dog norbmally, and wait for the dog to boot up.
  • Enjoy your root access by ssh-ing under root, the password is theroboverse:
ssh root@[your_dog_ip]
